How do you ume david ortiz did seteriods his numbers dont add up?

I am not saying he did, but if someone accuses a Red Sox player whether it be Big Papi, Ramirez or Schilling, their fans get defenseless but they are the same ones who will say A Rod or Jeter is, just because they play for the Yankees. I always was suspicious of Schilling because if he wasn't, why was he in front on Congress with Sosa, Palmeiro & McGwire?
